I had the incredible opportunity to design the splash for Substance 3D Sampler v5. My goal was to highlight some of Sampler’s features, like scanning, embroidery, and the many filters used in material creation. I couldn't resist sneaking in a few Substance easter eggs for those who know where to look... 🔍🥐
The materials come from the talented artists contributing to the Asset Store, with a mix of custom meshes and some base meshes from the store—like the scissors etc. Textured in Substance Painter, rendered in UE5.4, and powered by an RTX 4090 with path tracing. I had great fun bringing this all to life.
